hello, world — why I rebuilt my site as a terminal

Most developer portfolios look the same. A hero, three cards, a contact form.

I wanted mine to feel like the place I actually work: a terminal. Monospace type, a blinking cursor, sections you cd into — plus an AI assistant that answers recruiter questions before the first call.

What's under the hood

• Next.js 16, Tailwind v4, shadcn (Base UI), GSAP + ScrollTrigger
• Apple-style icon gates: scroll through a graduation cap to reach Education
• A photo that refuses to be caught (try it on the homepage)
• An AI chat grounded in the site's own content file
